Neemrana Tijara Fort Palace

Tijara Fort is a perfect dream site for a peaceful and memorable weekend getaway from Delhi. It is located at hilltop in Tijara City, Alwar. 7 terraced gardens over the tall ramparts, which have been compared to the Hanging Gardens of Babylonia, give a splendid vista. It is an incredible place for photography and to explore history.

OVERVIEW:-

The 19th century Tijara Fort was once an abandoned and unfinished Palace that has now been dotingly restored and turned into a dream destination. It is an amalgamation of Afghan and Rajput style architecture. Some of the sightseeing places near the Fort are- Tijara Jain Temple (4.6 kms), Bhangarh (147 kms), Sariska National Park (95 kms), Bala Qila (65 kms), City Palace (57 kms), Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri (58 kms), Jaisamand Lake (67 kms), and Pandupol (116 kms).

  • By Road – Alwar is located on NH-8, one of the best highways in country and a part of golden quadrilateral. Alwar Bus Stand, which is 59 kms from Tijara Fort, has regular buses plying for major cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, etc. Take cab from Tijara City to reach the Fort.
