Situated adjacent to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Laxmi Vilas Palace was earlier called as Raghunath Niwas (or Kakaji Ki Kothi by the locals) and was converted into the heritage hotel in 1994. It has been a host to many dignitaries including Shah of Afghan, King of Nepal, and Duke of Edinburgh. Despite refurbishments, the hotel preserves its royalty and reminds you of the glorious days of the Raj.

Built in 1857, Laxmi Vilas Palace is spread over 50 acres of land. It was once the residence of Raja Raghunath Singhji.
